Aurelien Doucet is a Research Associate at the CNRS - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and IRCAN - Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging in Nice since October 2015, focusing on retrotransposons and genome plasticity under the guidance of Dr. Gael Cristofari. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at INSERM from August 2014 to September 2015, and a Visiting Research Investigator position at the University of Michigan's Department of Human Genetics from November 2008 to July 2014. Aurelien completed a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Montpellier from 2004 to 2008, and holds an M.S. in Genetics from Université Paris XI - ORSAY and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Universités Limoges et Paris XI.
