Olga Tatsiy, Ph.D.

Research Scientist at Virogin Biotech

Olga Tatsiy, Ph.D. has an extensive work experience in the field of research. Olga began their career in 2006 as a Research Technician at the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics. In 2009, they became a Junior Researcher at the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, RAS. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Postgraduate Student at the Université de Sherbrooke where they developed a new method of neutrophils extracellular traps (NETs) labeling and quantification. In 2018, they became a Scientific Data Curator (Contractor) at Rancho BioSciences. In 2020, they took on the roles of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Toronto and Research and Development Specialist at Paradox Immunotherapeutics. Currently, they are a Research Associate at Virogin Biotech.

Olga Tatsiy, Ph.D. completed their PostDoc at the University of Toronto in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Université de Sherbrooke in 2019. Olga also holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), which they obtained in 2009.
