Frédéric Brochard

Frédéric Brochard is the Research Director in Plasma Physics at CNRS / Institut Jean Lamour, where they lead the SPEKTRE project focusing on Plasma-Surface Interactions and Edge Turbulence in fusion experiments. With extensive experience, Frédéric served as a Group Leader for the Fusion Plasma Group until December 2022 and has been a permanent researcher since 2007. They completed a PhD on low-frequency instabilities in magnetized plasma and had post-doctoral research at the Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics. Additionally, Frédéric acts as a scientific adviser for APREX Solutions, specializing in image and video data analysis.
