Charlene Frizzera

Charlene Frizzera is the President and CEO of CF Health Advisors, a health policy and business strategy advisory firm, she co-founded after her retirement from 30 years of federal service as the Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Prior to CF Health Advisors, Ms. Frizzera was the Acting Administrator of CMS, where she was responsible for all policy and operational management for CMS. Over Ms. Frizzera’s thirty year career at CMS she gained extensive, in-depth policy and operational knowledge having previously held the positions of Chief Operating Officer of CMS, Deputy Director of the Center for Medicaid and State Operations, Regional Administrator of the Philadelphia Regional Office, as well as various other positions in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.

She also is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Care Hospice, The Schumacher Group, and Noridian Healthcare Solutions, and DotLab. Ms. Frizzera, through CF Health Advisors, is also an investor and advisor to early-stage healthcare technology companies. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and serves as a Senior Advisor for consulting firm, Leavitt Partners.
