Maria Paula Quiceno-Mesa

Maria Paula Quiceno-Mesa is an experienced professional with a strong background in participatory monitoring and research. Currently serving as the Coordinadora Latinoamérica Monitoreo Digital Participativo at CNV Internationaal since September 2020, Maria Paula has previously held the position of Coordinadora Monitoreo Participativo at PAX for peace until December 2021. Maria Paula's career includes significant roles as a researcher at Fundación Proyecto Primates and FUNDACION S.I. CONOCIMIENTO EN ACCION, focusing on applied research in innovation, technology transfer, and patent negotiation. Additionally, Maria Paula worked as an investigator for Tropenbos International, contributing to biodiversity research and technology transfer processes, and served as Principal Researcher at the Instituto de Investigación de Recursos Biológicos Alexander von Humboldt from May 2001 to February 2010.
