Ian Hindle

Ian Hindle brings extensive experience in risk operations and management within the Co-operative Group, having held roles from Area Manager to Regional Risk Operations Manager for the South of England from February 2018 to March 2024. Key responsibilities included leading teams of risk support officers to ensure compliance and safety while managing high-level projects aimed at reducing operational risks, as well as overseeing logistics operations at the Birtley depot, servicing over 250 stores. Notably, Ian facilitated the successful divestment of 185 stores to McColls during tenure as Regional Manager. Prior to February 2018, Ian contributed to the Co-operative Group in various operational roles from January 2004.
