Kirsty Rushby

Kirsty Rushby is currently serving as a Governor at Co-op Academy Brierley since August 2023. With a robust background in public relations and communications, Kirsty has held various roles at Co-op since July 2015, including Comms & Marketing Lead at Co-op Wholesale and Consumer Public Relations Manager. Previous experience includes senior positions at Brazen PR, where Kirsty was a Senior Account Manager, and work at Zeus Public Relations as an Account Executive, focusing on multiple sectors. Additional experience includes a volunteer role as Press Officer for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Kirsty holds an MSc in International Public Relations from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BA Hons in Journalism with Advertising from the University of Chester, along with a WSET wine qualification from the Manchester School of Wine.
