Pedro Augusto Kniphoff

Pedro Augusto Kniphoff, CFA has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a English Teacher at BRASAS English Course in 2006. Pedro Augusto then worked in various finance positions at BRF, including Finance Analyst, Credit Coordinator, Finance Coordinator/Specialist, and Finance Manager. Pedro Augusto had a successful hedging operation in an African country which led to their appointment as the CFO of BRF's African market. Pedro Augusto also worked as the CFO for the MEA Region at CO-RO, a Danish multinational producer of fruit-based beverages and ice lollies. Pedro pursued an MBA at IMD Business School during which they worked for a manufacturing start-up and participated in an innovation week where their team created a product for a Swiss healthcare competition. Pedro Augusto also had a part-time role as CFO at Travel Daily during their MBA. Pedro also had a summer project as part of their MBA at Beaulieu International Group.

Pedro Augusto Kniphoff, CFA has an extensive education history. In 2004, they began their academic journey at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations, completing it in 2007.

In 2011, Pedro enrolled at the FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração and completed a Post Graduation in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking by 2012. That same year, they furthered their knowledge of accounting by completing a course in Contabilização de Operações Financeiras at FIPECAFI. In 2013, they gained an introductory understanding of Economic Psychology through another course at FIPECAFI in Introdução à Psicologia Econômica.

Seeking to expand their skills and knowledge in business administration and management, Pedro attended IMD in 2018, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.

Pedro continued to enhance their professional credentials by obtaining certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified ScrumMaster, accredited by the Scrum Alliance. Pedro Augusto Kniphoff completed their educational journey by achieving the highly respected Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation awarded by the CFA Institute in May 2023.
