Miguel Nogueira

Miguel Nogueira serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at CO2offset.ai, focusing on growth and the development of AI-powered digital twins for climate change mitigation solutions. Concurrently, Miguel holds the position of Invited Professor at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, teaching courses related to business analytics and climate risk management. Previously, Miguel was involved with the Bezos Earth Fund as a reviewer for the AI for Climate and Nature Grand Challenge and held various roles at Cervest, specializing in climate science. With a strong academic background, Miguel earned both a PhD in Atmospheric Physics and Dynamics from Duke University and the University of Lisbon, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.
