Emma Pineda Fortin

Emma Pineda Fortin, Ph.D., is the Founder and CEO of Guerrera de La Luz Leadership, where coaching focuses on individuals from bi/multicultural backgrounds exploring belonging in their personal and professional lives. With roles as a keynote speaker and executive coach at Pivot Positive and Coaching For Everyone, Emma emphasizes the importance of cultural identity and offers leadership support to underserved populations. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Panty Drop, Senior Consultant at Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Biotechnology Commercialization Associate at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center. Emma holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tulane University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
