Julia V. has been working in the professional field since 2006. Julia began their career as a Class Coach for Dale Carnegie, where they taught Effective Communication and Human Relations. In 2008, they joined the Westmont Public Library as a Circulation Coordinator and Public Service Associate. In 2013, they began working for Elmhurst University as a College Life Coach, Head of Access Services- A. C. Buehler Library, and First Year Seminar Staff Partner, where they provided one-on-one assistance to students and taught topics such as time management and goal setting. In 2017, they became a Private Running Coach for CoachUp, helping new and seasoned runners to meet a variety of running goals. Julia is currently Manager of Public Services at the College of DuPage Library.

Julia V. has a Master of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, an Effective Communication and Human Relations Course from Dale Carnegie Training, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in computational math from DePauw University. Julia also holds certifications as a Certified Health Coach and Certified Life Coach from the Health Coach Institute, a Certified Running Coach from the Road Runners Club of America, and a Certified Personal Trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association.
