Sourav Chal

Sourav Chal is an experienced professional in the mining and cement industries, currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Coal India Limited since December 2022. Prior to this role, Sourav held positions at UltraTech Cement, starting as a Graduate Engineering Trainee under the Aditya Birla Group's Engineering Leadership Program before progressing to Assistant Manager from September 2021 to October 2022. Additionally, Sourav served as Head of Finance for INITIUM- The National Mining Tech Festival and completed a summer traineeship at NCL | Coal India Limited in mid-2019. Early experience includes working as an Internshala Student Partner from March to September 2018. Sourav Chal earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, in 2021.
