Douglas Barrett is a seasoned data architect and solution consultant with extensive experience in the data infrastructure and business intelligence domains. Currently serving as the Principal Solution Architect at Coalesce.io, Douglas collaborates with the Technical Sales Team to demonstrate the value of modern data stack solutions and ensure customer success. In addition, Douglas has held key positions including Chief Data Architect at WiiBit Limited, where expertise in Snowflake, Azure, and Spark is leveraged to enhance data architecture for retail firms, and Chief Architect at Clean Data, Inc., focusing on infrastructure modernization. Previous roles include leadership positions at WhereScape USA Ltd, Microsoft Consulting, and extensive involvement in community education through DAMA PDX. Douglas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter.
