Michael Yip has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and software development industry. Michael is currently the VP of Engineering at Coalfire, a cybersecurity company.
Previously, they were the Senior Director of Software Engineering and Product Development at Forcepoint, where they were responsible for leading product innovation and expansion for cloud and hybrid data analytic and cybersecurity software, products and solutions.
Before that, they were the Senior Director of Engineering at Juniper Networks, where they led the development of analytic and web-based application software and cloud-based products. Michael also developed the business unit, launched products, built high-performing international teams, and scaled the organization.
Prior to Juniper Networks, Michael was the Global Transformation Leader at EMC. In this role, they were responsible for leading the global transformation initiatives across all business units.
Before EMC, Michael spent 8 years at Alcatel-Lucent as the Director of Engineering and Operations. In this role, they were responsible for the engineering and operations of the company's products and solutions.

Michael Yip started their educational career by obtaining a B.S. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University. Michael then went on to get their M.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Northeastern University.
They are on a team with Leslie Jones - Chief Human Resources Officer, Merri Chandler - CFO, and Jason Rowland - VP, Pen Testing and Cloud Security. Michael Yip reports to Tom Mcandrew, CEO.
