Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson is an experienced professional in application security, currently serving as the Director of Application Security at Coalfire since April 2021, and previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same field. Prior to Coalfire, Scott worked at GuidePoint Security as a Managing Security Consultant and Principal Application Security Consultant from May 2017 to April 2021. Earlier roles include Senior Application Security Consultant at Optiv Inc, where responsibilities encompassed delivering application security assessments and conducting security architecture reviews, and Senior Application Security Engineer at PepsiCo, where an application security program was established. Scott’s career began with consulting positions at WP-ORG, Inc., Vignette Corporation, and Fujitsu Technology Solutions. Scott holds a degree from The University of Texas at Dallas.
