Omar D. is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity Operations at OneAmerica since July 2022. Previously, Omar D. held the position of Global Head of Cybersecurity Operations at The Chemours Company, where responsibilities included leading the Cyber Fusion Center. Prior to that, Omar D. contributed to The AES Corporation in various capacities, ultimately serving as Global Manager for Cyber Defense Tools and Threat Intelligence. With a solid educational foundation including a Master’s degree in Management and Productivity from Universidad APEC and a Systems Engineer degree from Universidad Catolica Santo Domingo, Omar D. has demonstrated a strong capability to enhance cybersecurity operations and align them with organizational goals throughout a diverse career spanning nearly two decades.
