Ratnesh Kumar

Ratnesh Kumar, PhD, serves as Lead Specialist in Knowledge Management at the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure since November 2019, where contributions include designing core programs such as the DRI Knowledge Portal and developing research strategies for disaster response. Previously, Ratnesh held a Senior Consultant role at the National Disaster Management Authority, focusing on national risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic and assisting in the establishment of CDRI. A research background is established through work as a Research Associate and PhD Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, with a thesis on a risk management framework for construction projects. Earlier roles at Larsen and Toubro included Assistant Manager and Senior Engineer, overseeing large-scale construction projects and project management responsibilities. Ratnesh holds a PhD in Project Risk Management from IIT Delhi, an M.Tech in Construction Management, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
