Samta Shukla

Samta Shukla, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of AI and data science, currently serving as the Director of AI and Data Science at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Shukla has a history of collaboration with organizations such as the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and the Coalition for Health AI as a member. Previously, Shukla held several key positions at CVS Health, including Senior Data Science Manager for Analytics and Behavior Change, Lead Data Scientist, and Senior Data Scientist in the Covid Data and Modeling Center. Shukla is also recognized as a Fellow at Insight Data Science and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Networks from the Indian Institute of Science.
