Kate McCormack

Kate McCormack is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on children's mental health and community health initiatives. Currently serving as a Reflective Consultant for the Coalition for Immigrant Mental Health, Kate previously held the position of Director at the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group, overseeing the IL ACEs Response Collaborative. Prior experience includes managing children's mental health initiatives at the Kane County Health Department, where Kate led multiple projects, tracked budgets, and evaluated programs to enhance community mental health services. With a background as a bilingual therapist and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Kate combines clinical expertise with a commitment to promoting equity and culturally competent care across diverse populations.
