Bryan Wilson

Treasurer at Coalition for Responsible Community Development

Bryan Wilson is the current Treasurer at Coalition for Responsible Community Development. Bryan has over 25 years of experience in policy and research.

Bryan started their career as a research analyst for the Washington State House of Representatives. Bryan then became an executive policy assistant for the Office of the Governor. In January 1993, they started working for the Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board as the deputy director and associate director for policy and research. Bryan oversaw the development of every Washington State Plan for Workforce Development from 1996 to 2012. Bryan also led the creation of the state’s performance accountability system for workforce development and presented approximately 80 times before legislative committees. Bryan was instrumental in guiding successful legislation aligning workforce and economic development and codifying Community College Centers of Excellence. Along with the executive director, Bryan led the national Integrated Performance Information project that designed the next generation performance management system for the nation’s workforce development programs, including performance measures codified in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

After receiving their bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan, Bryan Wilson earned their master's degree in the same field from the University of Oregon. Bryan then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in political economy from Rutgers University.
