Erik Brown is the current Head of Brand at Coalition. Prior to this, they were the Director of Messaging Strategy at Splunk from January 2019 to September 2021. In this role, Erik led a team of messengers and strategists focused on helping Splunk tell a cohesive and compelling story in the crowded data marketplace. Erik has also worked as a Senior Account Planner at Godfrey Dadich Partners from May 2014 to January 2019, where they helped design strategy, experiences, and stories for clients such as Google, IBM, National Geographic, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Sightglass Coffee, Majordomo Media, Lyft, HeadSpin, and New Business. Erik has also held positions as a Strategist at EVB and JESS3, and as a Marketing and Research Assistant at Persuasion Strategies.
Erik Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.
Erik Brown reports to Joshua Motta, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Andrew Gates - Head Of Partnerships, George Bozanin - Managing Partner & Head of Strategic Agency Management (Canada), and Shawn Ram - Head of Insurance.
