Lois Nahirney

Lois brings strong executive leadership and entrepreneurial expertise to Coast Capital’s Board as the Founder, President and CEO of dnaPower Inc. She has led global work in human resources, organizational development, strategic planning, operations and IT management as the Executive Vice President, Corporate Resources at Teekay Corporation and a Partner with Westner Management Consultants.

With experience on over 25 private, public and non-profit boards, Lois understands the importance of corporate social responsibility and corporate sustainability in board decision making. She currently serves on the Asia Pacific Foundation and BCAA Boards. She is a community leader in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Lois holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from the Asia Pacific International University, a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, and is a Fellow in Board Governance from the Canadian Board Diversity Council. She has been recognized with many awards including Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100, YWCA Women of Distinction, BIV and BC Business Women of Influence and the BC Medal of Good Citizenship.
