Peter Roberts

In his capacity as Coast Capital’s Chief Risk Officer, Peter is responsible for directing and leading the risk oversight function for Coast Capital in accordance with the risk appetite and regulatory requirements. This includes assessing the adequacy of, ensuring compliance with, and effectiveness of Coast Capital’s operating procedures.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba. He brings over 30 years of financial service experience to his role, including progressively senior roles within HSBC Bank Canada.

Peter is actively involved with his community. Currently, he is a Canadian Committee Member and Director for the Risk Management Association, an industry peer-sharing group which promotes risk management principles. Peter is the former Vice President of the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter and former Co-Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Langley.
