Whitney Yamamura

Whitney Yamamura serves as the Chancellor of Coast Community College District since September 2022, following a tenure as President of Folsom Lake College from July 2017 to August 2022. Prior roles include Interim President at Sacramento City College for a brief period in 2017, Vice President of Instruction and Interim President at Cosumnes River College from June 2008 to January 2017, and Dean of Behavioral & Social Sciences and Natomas Center as well as Professor of Economics at American River College from 1991 to 2008. Whitney Yamamura holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Finance focus from California State University-Sacramento.
