Pradeep K. Khosla

Chancellor at UC San Diego

Pradeep K. Khosla is the current Chancellor at UC San Diego. Pradeep has also served as a founding charter member at TiE from January 2002 to December 2010, and as a member of the Board of Directors at Quantapoint from January 1999 to July 2015. Additionally, they have been a Dowd University Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from January 1999 to July 2012, and an Independent Director at Avigilon from January 2016 to June 2017. Pradeep is also a Founding Director at ICES, Carnegie Mellon University, and served as a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from January 1994 to August 1996.

Pradeep K. Khosla received their B. Tech (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1980. Pradeep then went on to Carnegie Mellon University to receive their MS and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engg in 1984 and 1986 respectively.
