Nick Carey

Director Of Operations at Coast Flight Training

Nick Carey has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Nick started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an Air Support Operator, planning and executing air support operations. After leaving the military in 2015, Carey joined Coast Flight Training, where they held various managerial roles. Nick was responsible for program administration and pilot training for airline partners, developed a flight training program for American Airlines, and managed operations and goals for the company. Nick provided guidance to site directors and was involved in curriculum development and standardization. Carey also had a brief role as an Assistant to the Director of Aircraft Maintenance, where they managed fleet maintenance and airworthiness.

Nick Carey attended San Diego Miramar College from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Aeronautical Flight Science in the field of Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. Following that, they enrolled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from 2017 to 2019.
