Joshua J. Ramos has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as the Department Manager for Operations at the U.S. Coast Guard Community Services Command since January 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing a military exchange's operations, a Cash Operations unit managing over $54 million, and a Gasoline Dispensing Facility with direct sales exceeding $3.5 million and distribution of over 1 million gallons of fuel. Prior to this role, Joshua served as a GDF Manager, where management of a high-volume Gasoline Dispensing Facility was a key focus, alongside leading a team dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Earlier experience includes working as a Loadmaster for TradeWinds International Airlines, where Joshua was responsible for cargo operations and weight calculations for aircraft. Joshua holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from Universidad de Puerto Rico, completed in 2008.

The Coast Guard Community Services Command (CSC) was commissioned on March 26th, 2009 with its headquarters located in Chesapeake, Virginia. CSC is comprised of the Coast Guard Morale, Well-Being and Recreation (MWR) program and the Coast Guard Exchange System (CGX). The Coast Guard MWR and CGX programs are considered vital nonpay compensation programs that have responsibilities in taking care of those who protect and defend the homeland. Our responsibility is to help ensure the mission readiness and retention of our Coast Guard military members and the Coast Guard family. CGX provides quality merchandise and services at a savings to the military member and their families as well as other authorized patrons and provides a dividend to help fund Coast Guard MWR programs worldwide. Over the past 10 years, CGX has contributed over $23 million to Coast Guard MWR programs! MWR activities are varied and diverse and include fitness centers, gymnasiums, picnic areas, community centers, movie theaters, food and beverage operations, golf courses, child development centers, recreational lodging, bowling centers, and information, ticket, and tour activities, just to name a few!
