Arika Kern

Arika Kern is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and event management. Currently serving as a Development Officer at the Coast Guard Foundation, Arika focuses on managing relationships with 400 Guardian Circle members to enhance outreach and fundraising efforts. Previous roles include Corporate Fundraising Analyst at AARP Foundation, where Arika implemented strategies to engage corporate sponsors, and Brand Event Coordinator at AARP, responsible for organizing large-scale events. Additional experience includes Development Assistant at Children's National Health System, Fund Development Manager at Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and an internship with National Foundation for Women Legislators. Arika holds a Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies with a specialization in Healthcare Policy and a Bachelor's Degree in Government and International Politics, both from George Mason University.
