Grant Mckegney

Grant McKegney has an extensive work experience in the technology field. Grant started their career in 1998 as a Manager of Information Technology at Air Canada, where they led various projects including email technology deployment and wireless LAN infrastructure development. Grant then served as the Director of Information Technology at Harmony Airways, responsible for end-to-end IT service delivery and managing a large annual budget.

After Harmony Airways, Grant worked as the Manager of IT and E-commerce at oneworld Management Company, where they oversaw day-to-day IT operations and collaborated with the IT Steering Committee to develop alliance IT strategy. Grant then joined Rocky Mountaineer as the Director of IT, creating and implementing the overall technology vision and strategy for the company.

Grant's next role was at Etihad Airways, where they served as the Head of Technology and Innovation, Business Solutions and Applications Management. Grant led a team responsible for core passenger services systems and successfully delivered over 200 projects and changes. Grant also had a significant budget responsibility.

Most recently, Grant held the position of Director of IT at Canadian North, managing the IT team and overseeing technological direction, system security, application development, and infrastructure management. Grant successfully directed the IT team through a merger of two airlines.

Currently, Grant is the Director of Technology at Coast Hotels, where they are responsible for the technology department.

Grant McKegney attended the University of Waterloo from 1986 to 1993, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry.
