Margot Stanhope is a highly experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor currently working at First Step of Sarasota, Inc. and Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc., with additional counseling roles at Manatee Glens and Jewish Family & Children Services of Sarasota. Margot leads the Mentor for Success program, assisting incarcerated and recently released clients with substance abuse issues in goal setting and problem solving. As President of You the Artist, Margot provides creative experiences for at-risk youth. Margot's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and a BA in Psychology from USF Sarasota. Margot also has experience in legal assistance, having worked at various law firms and the Office of the County Attorney.
