Kevin Nero has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kevin started their career in the US Army, serving as a Batallion Head Quarters/Operations Sergeant E-5 from 1986 to 1992. Following their military service, they worked at North American Salt, where they held various positions, including Production Foreman, EHS Manager, and Production Manager from 1994 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Training Manager at FSS (Fire and Safety Specialist). Kevin then joined Coastal Chemical Co., LLC in 2010, initially working as an HSE Manager before becoming a Facility Manager from 2012 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Operations at Coastal Chemical Co., LLC, starting in January 2022. Throughout their career, Kevin has gained expertise in operations management, facility management, health, safety, and environmental management, and training.
Kevin Nero earned their high school degree from Delcambre High School in 1987. Kevin then went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1987 to 1989, where they pursued a field of study in General Studies. In 2001, Kevin enrolled at Remington College-Lafayette Campus to earn an Associate's Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology, which they completed in 2003. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management at Ashford University from 2006 to 2008.
