Franziska Shaw

Ms. Shaw is an Executive Director of The Advisory Board Company, a global research, technology and consulting firm serving the health care and higher education industries. As a member of the Advisory Board’s founding team, she has played many leadership and general management roles. As leader of the firm’s flagship Health Care Advisory Board program, Ms. Shaw directed the firm’s research on strategy, innovation, corporate governance and operations for health system CEOs. Ms. Shaw has launched, developed and led several new healthcare practice areas for the firm in consulting, talent development, international research and data. Ms. Shaw currently oversees the firm’s international division and serves as Executive Entrepreneur in the firm’s corporate strategy division. Ms. Shaw is a graduate of Harvard Business School (1985), holds an MA degree in Russian area studies from Harvard (1979) and a BA in Russian and Political Science from Middlebury College (1977).
