Jesse McKinnell

Jesse McKinnell currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Climate Justice and Environmental Resilience Investment at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. since April 2024. In addition to this role, McKinnell has been a writer at Montag Press since May 2018, having authored two novels. Previously, McKinnell was the COO at Bright Community Capital from January 2018 to April 2024, where the focus was on financing impactful solar projects for low-income communities. Prior to that, McKinnell held positions at CEI Capital Management LLC, including Revenue and Fund Development Officer and Asset and Relationship Manager, overseeing significant financial portfolios and new product development. Earlier experience includes working as a Risk Analyst at PowerPay and an Associate at Research Associates, along with academic credentials that include a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Southern Maine.
