Ava Parker has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. Ava started their career at Pine Belt Mental Healthcare in 2011 as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Supervisor, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, Ava joined Community Development Inc. Richton as the Executive Director of IDD Services, a role they held until 2019. Currently, Ava is working as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Coastal Family Health Center, Inc.

Ava Parker completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with an Associate's degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Jones College in 2008. Ava then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from William Carey University, graduating in 2011. Later on, they obtained a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the same university, completing their studies in 2016.
