Amy Read

Amy Read is an experienced community trainer currently employed at Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. since June 2020, focusing on community resiliency programs. Prior to this role, Amy served as the Children's Outreach Program Manager at New Hanover County Public Library from October 2004 to June 2020, where responsibilities included program development, supervision, coaching, and grant management. Amy's extensive background in clinical services began at Methodist Home for Children, followed by various roles in family-centered services, including at the Institute for Family Centered Services and Southeastern Center for MH/DD/SAS. Amy's educational background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations from East Carolina University.
