Kelly Purcell is an experienced education and wellness professional currently serving as a Prevention Specialist and Community Resiliency Model Teacher at Coastal Horizons, where Kelly focuses on teaching coping and wellness skills to youth. With a strong background in resilience education, Kelly also acts as a facilitator for the Trauma Resource Institute, training others to become Community Resiliency Model teachers. In addition, Kelly founded Ground. Connect. Empower LLC, providing consulting on well-being. Previous roles include supporting county resiliency initiatives in North Carolina with the Healthy Blue Initiative and serving as an instructional coach and teacher in various educational institutions. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and Communication from Oregon State University, complemented by international education experience at Stellenbosch University.
