Edward McGookin

Edward McGookin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Edward started their career as a Pediatrician at Coastal Waterman Pediatrics in 1998. In 2004, they joined Memorial Hospital of RI as the Director of Pediatric Education, a role they held until July 2012. In the same year, they joined Coastal Medical as the Chief Medical Officer and President of Coastal Medical Physicians, Inc. Edward continues to hold these positions. Additionally, they have served as the Pediatric Medical Director at Coastal Medical since January 2011. Overall, Edward McGookin has demonstrated expertise in pediatric healthcare and leadership roles within the medical industry.

Edward McGookin completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at LeMoyne College from 1985 to 1989. Edward then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse from 1989 to 1993. Most recently, from 2016 to 2018, Edward completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Care Delivery Science at Dartmouth College.
