Courtney B. Johnson is an experienced Orthopaedic Physician Assistant, currently serving at Coastal Orthopedics since May 2019. Prior to this role, Courtney worked as an Orthopedic PA-C at Intercoastal Medical Group Inc. from August 2017 to April 2019 and gained valuable experience as a Physician Assistant Student at CARES Clinic from May 2015 to August 2017, where involvement included collaborating with medical students to provide free care to the community. Courtney's career commenced as a Medical Assistant at Palmetto Eye Specialists from May 2013 to May 2015, focusing on patient workups and scribing. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina (2015-2017) and a degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from Erskine College (2009-2013).
