Javier Guerrero

Javier Guerrero is an experienced nonprofit leader currently serving as the President and CEO of Coastal Roots Farm since June 2018, focusing on regenerative organic farming and community engagement in San Diego County. Previously, Javier held the role of Executive Director at the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum from July 2010 to June 2018, promoting exploration and learning for children. Additional experience includes roles at SurfAid International, the Museum of Us in various management and curatorial capacities, and as an adjunct professor at San Diego City College and the University of San Diego. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Applied Cultural Anthropology from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in Art History from the University of San Diego.
