Vidya Balasubramanyam

Vidya Balasubramanyam is the Research, Science and Program Director at Coastal States Organization. Vidya has extensive experience in coordinating multi-state projects related to coastal hazards, shoreline habitat restoration, and climate resilience. Previously, Vidya has worked with organizations such as Illinois Coastal Management Program and Tridec Technologies, LLC, where Vidya focused on sustainable shoreline management and GIS modeling efforts. Vidya holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources and has a background in Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Botany.
