Kathryn Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Kathryn started their career in 1987 at the City of Corpus Christi Park & Recreation, where they served as an Assistant Program Manager and Director of Licensing for over a decade. In 1998, Kathryn transitioned into education and joined the Corpus Christi Independent School District as a Teacher. Kathryn later took on roles as a Counselor, Assistant Principal, and eventually became a School Principal in 2013. Recently, they joined CoastLife Credit Union in 2020 as the Director. Overall, Kathryn Ortiz has a strong background in education and leadership.
Kathryn Ortiz obtained a Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Education/Counseling & Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1995.
