Wes Baker (ACMA, CGMA, CPFA) is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in strategic analytics, economics, and population health management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Analytics at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, Wes leads population health analytics and strategic projects, including addressing surge demand in mental health due to COVID-19. Wes has also held significant roles such as Non-Executive Director and Chair of Risk and Audit at Cobalt Housing, and co-lead for the Population Health theme with the National Institute for Health Research. Previous positions include Deputy Director of Finance for Cheshire and Merseyside Health Care Partnership and Assistant Director of Financial Restructure at NHS Transformation Unit, among others.
