Mike Blakeney

Mike Blakeney is an experienced professional in government and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of Government and Public Affairs at Cobalt Institute since January 2020. In addition, Mike is the Vice President of the Critical Raw Materials Alliance and Special Adviser to the Paris Peace Forum. Previous roles include Account Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Account Manager at Cicero Group, and Senior Consultant at Interel. Early in the career, Mike volunteered as an Organiser for Ed Miliband's Labour Leader campaign, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills. Mike's educational background includes a BA in Politics from the University of Surrey and an MSc in Political Communication, Advocacy, and Campaigning from Kingston University.
