Jean-François Plante

Jean-François Plante began their career in 1998 as a Canadian Custom Officer at the Canada Border Services Agency. In 2000, they moved on to become a Business Continuity Consultant at Cognicase, which was later acquired by CGI, where they worked until 2002. At CGI, they held the role of Business Continuity Senior Consultant. In 2005, Jean-François Plante founded Aurizon Inc. and also worked as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator at Bombardier Aerospace. Finally, in 2008, they founded Cobalt Intelligence Inc. and served as the company's Founder & CEO.

Jean-François Plante began their educational journey in 1991 when they attended Monseigneur Richard. Jean-François then went on to College André-Laurendeau in 1994, where they earned a degree in Pure Sciences. Following this, they attended Université de Sherbrooke from 1997 to 2000, studying Business Administration, Security and Crisis Management. In 2001, they obtained a CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Planner) from DRI Canada. Additionally, they are a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (with merit).
