Dr. Juozas Rimas

Dr. Juozas Rimas is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of the M&A Practice Group at COBALT Legal since 2009, Dr. Rimas has held various positions within the same firm, including Managing Associate and Senior Associate. Prior to this, Dr. Rimas worked as an Associate and Assistant Lawyer at RLN (Law Offices RAIDLA LEJINS & NORCOUS, RoschierRaidla) from 2004 to 2008, and briefly at Nordea Bank Finland Plc Lithuania Branch in 2004. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Law focused on Private Equity from Vilnius University (2005-2009) and a Master's degree in Law with a specialization in Commercial Law from Vilnius University (2000-2005). Additionally, Dr. Rimas studied International Relations at Vilnius University from 1999 to 2000.
