Simona Liuimiene

Simona Liuimiene is a seasoned competition lawyer currently serving as Managing Associate at COBALT Legal since December 2023. Previously, Simona held the role of Senior Associate and Expert at Ellex – Baltic circle of legal excellence from April 2018 to November 2023, specializing in complex competition law matters. Simona's extensive experience includes positions as Senior Consultant at PwC Lithuania, Deputy Head of Law and Competition Policy division at the Lithuanian Competition Council, and Chief Expert at the Department of Law and Competition Policy of the Competition Council of Lithuania. Additionally, Simona gained international experience as a Stagiaire at the European Commission. Simona is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Law & AI at the Brussels School of Competition, having completed a Master's degree in International and European Union Law from Vilnius University. Simona's educational background also includes studies at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg and secondary education from Juozas Balčikonis Gymnasium.
