Brett Challenger has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Brett began their career at Union Bank in 1993 as a Vice President in the Energy Capital Services division. After working there for five years, they joined Bank of America in 1998 as a Managing Director in the Debt Capital Markets department. In 2001, Challenger moved to Duke Capital Partners, where they served as a Senior Vice President until 2003. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Chief Executive Officer of the Logan County Economic Development Corporation. Since 2006, Challenger has been employed at CoBank, where they have held various senior positions, including roles such as Senior Vice President, Regional President & Division Manager, and Senior Vice President and Head of the Regional Agribusiness Banking Group. Most recently, as of February 2023, they hold the position of Executive Vice President in the Infrastructure Banking Group.
Brett Challenger completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1984 to 1988. Later, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Finance & Marketing at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1990 to 1992. In 2014, they attended the Harvard Business School for the Harvard Agribusiness Seminar, specifically in Agricultural Business and Management.
