Cole Goetz

Cole Goetz serves as Vice President and Credit Supervisor in the Power, Energy, & Utilities division at CoBank, having held multiple positions including Senior Credit Officer and Credit Officer. With a focus on Generation & Transmission Cooperatives, regulated utilities, and midstream oil & gas companies, Cole manages a portfolio of over 30 borrowers with commitments ranging from $10MM to $300MM, conducting in-depth credit analysis and financial modeling. Previously, Cole contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Dakota State University, analyzing agricultural and energy commodities while completing a thesis on futures markets' impact on spot price volatility. Education includes a Master of Science in Agribusiness and Applied Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Mathematics, both from North Dakota State University. Prior military experience includes serving as an Air Defense Battle Management Systems Operator in the Army National Guard.
