Gisela Kroess

Gisela Kroess has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on renewable energy. Gisela began their career at HVB in 1995, where they held roles as Vice President of Corporate Banking and later as Director of Project Finance. In 2005, they joined UniCredit Bank AG as a Managing Director/Director of Project Finance, where they played a key role in establishing the bank as a major player in the U.S. renewables sector. After leaving UniCredit Bank AG in 2012, they worked as a Senior Financial Advisor at a renewable energy advisory firm from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Project Finance - Power & Renewables at CoBank, a position they have held since 2018. In their various roles, Gisela has provided financial advisory services, facilitated financing options, and played a crucial role in project finance negotiations and documentation.

Gisela Kroess holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Fachhochschule fuer Wirtschaft Pforzheim Germany. Gisela also obtained an European Business Certificate in International Finance from London South Bank University.
