Ian Custer

Ian Custer is a seasoned DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. Currently serving as a DevOps Engineer III at CoBank since April 2024, Ian previously held senior and lead roles at companies such as Wild Alaskan Company and Dispatch, where expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform was demonstrated. Ian's career includes pivotal contributions to security enhancements of AWS infrastructure, significant experience in building auto-scaling Kubernetes deployments, and various roles managing technical infrastructures across multiple cloud platforms. Ian holds a Master of Science in Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Indiana University Bloomington.
